What it does

Fold removes the background from photos of your clothes on your iPhone and shows your closet like the pages of a fashion magazine. It suggests complete outfits from your closet for the weather, lets you build looks yourself in Mix and plan them on a calendar. Cost per wear, most-worn and never-worn pieces show how you use your clothes.

How it works

Fold works with tops, trousers, skirts, dresses, shoes, bags, hats and scarves, but not with jewellery. A review screen shows the category found for each piece before it goes into the closet. Style by color starts from one piece and shows outfits from your closet in matching colours. A closet scan fills in missing colours, or you set the main colour yourself.

The first 10 pieces are free; unlimited pieces cost $19.99 once or $1.99 a week. Everything runs on the phone, with no account, and works offline; a shared closet syncs through your own iCloud. The privacy label lists only usage data not linked to you. The app is in five languages, including Korean and Vietnamese, and needs iOS 18. Version 2.0 came out on September 26, 2026.
