What it does

OpenWardrobe removes the background of each photo and fills in the category, colour and other details. It counts wears and shows cost per wear, the value of your closet and its resale value. You build outfits in grids or collages or ask its AI stylist, plan them on a calendar, and share wardrobes with friends or a stylist. Orders come in from supported shops, and a Chrome extension saves pieces from shop pages to the closet or a wishlist.

What stands out

  • Wear count, cost per wear, closet value and resale value
  • Several wardrobes, for example for a season or a trip, shared with friends or a stylist
  • Imports online orders and saves pieces from shops with a Chrome extension
  • Colour analysis in a paid add-on, Style Blueprint
  • iPhone, Android and a web app

What its listings and website do not mention

  • Outfits for the weather
  • Virtual try-on

Who it suits

OpenWardrobe suits you if you like to track what your clothes cost and how often you wear them, and share your closet with a stylist.
