What it does
SimpleCloset keeps your clothes with many fields and your own categories, and cuts each photo out of its background. You make outfit collages by hand or let the app pick random outfits by rules you set, and you record or plan outfits on a calendar. Charts show your closet by category, brand, count and value.
How it works
Each piece can have a name, category, season, colour, storage location, brand, price, size, shop link and purchase date. On iOS 17 or later, auto cutout and auto colour extraction run when you add a piece, and you can turn the cutout off for a closet. The calendar keeps outfit diaries, records the weather and filters by temperature. You can sort pieces by wear ratio, the days worn divided by the days since purchase. Style collections help with packing, a body size page keeps your measurements, and you can export your items to Excel.
The free plan holds 30 items, 30 outfits and 2 closets. Premium costs $1.49 a month, $8.99 a year or $17.99 once, and adds unlimited items, passcode protection and backup. Backups go to iCloud Drive or to the maker's Simple Cloud, with 0.50 GB of free storage; above that you pay with CloudPoints, 3000 for $0.99. The help pages describe an Android app, but it is not on Google Play in the US. The app is in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Its privacy label lists only data not linked to you. The last update was version 2.22.4 on May 15, 2026.
