The 10 servers

Wearton's home page: a closet piece in the app with its colour season match

Wearton

Wearton's MCP server gives ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants the closet you keep in the Wearton app. The assistant sees your pieces, your saved outfits and your colour season, adds a new piece from a photo, saves an outfit to the app, and shows a top, bottom, dress or coat on your own full-body photo.

  • Colour season, undertone and palette of the person, and a tone match for every new piece
  • Try-on of a closet or wishlist piece on your own full-body photo
  • Adds a piece from a photo and cleans up the background, as the app does

Suits you if you already use Wearton and want ChatGPT or Claude to dress you from your own closet.

Aesty's MCP page: the server address and its closet, outfit and try-on tools

Aesty

Aesty's MCP server connects the closet of the Aesty app to Claude and ChatGPT. The assistant reads what you own, adds pieces from a photo or a shop link, removes what you no longer wear, asks Aesty for outfits from your style profile, plans them for days ahead and shows a try-on on a photo of you.

  • Adds pieces from a photo or a shop's product link
  • Outfit suggestions from Aesty's own stylist and your style profile
  • Plans outfits for dates and shows what is already planned

Suits you if you want an AI stylist that plans your week and shows the outfit on you.

Vêtir's MCP page: a look from the shop and your own closet in an AI chat

Vêtir

Vêtir's MCP server brings the Vêtir shop of designer and pre-owned pieces, your digital closet and the Vêtir AI stylist into ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants. Anyone can search the shop; after you sign in, the assistant reads and edits your closet, saves outfits and plans the next seven days with the weather in mind.

  • A 7-day outfit plan with the weather
  • The Vêtir stylist builds looks from your closet and the shop
  • Adds your own clothes from photos and edits their details

Suits you if you shop designer fashion and want your closet and the shop in one chat.

Modebase's guide to using your real clothes with ChatGPT

Modebase

Modebase is a wardrobe on the web with no phone app of its own; ChatGPT and Claude are the way you use it. It keeps your pieces with photos and a style profile, and the assistant finds pieces, previews outfits as flat-lay pictures, builds capsules, saves outfits and logs what you wore.

  • In the ChatGPT directory
  • Flat-lay pictures of outfits made from your own pieces
  • Logs what you wore and reviews how you use your wardrobe

Suits you if you want a wardrobe you use only through ChatGPT or Claude.

Able.Style's home page with the question "What shall I wear today?"; the street photos behind it are blurred

Able.Style

Able.Style is a personal stylist in ChatGPT. You say where you are going, and it suggests an outfit for the occasion and the local weather, from your own closet mixed with catalogue styles. You add clothes from a photo or a description, remove them, and like or dislike outfits to improve the next suggestions.

  • In the ChatGPT directory
  • Outfits for the occasion and the local weather
  • Adds pieces from a photo, an image link or a description

Suits you if you ask ChatGPT every morning what to wear for the weather.

Caffeinated Wardrobe's home page with its yearly price

Caffeinated Wardrobe

Caffeinated Wardrobe calls itself an API for your closet. Its MCP server lets any MCP assistant create, read, change and delete your items and outfits, link pieces that go together and record what you wore. It has no stylist of its own: the AI you connect does the styling.

  • Full control: create, edit and delete items and outfits
  • Records each wear of a piece or an outfit
  • Filters by wear count, price and purchase date

Suits you if you want a closet database that your own AI assistant manages, with full edit rights.

Fits's MCP guide: connect your Fits wardrobe to ChatGPT, Claude and more

Fits

Fits connects the closet of the Fits app to ChatGPT, Claude and other AI agents. The assistant reads your pieces and outfits, shows them as image cards, checks a new outfit for structure, warmth and formality, saves it as a collage and plans it on a date. It cannot add, edit or delete pieces.

  • Grid and collage cards of your pieces in the chat
  • Outfit calendar: plan a saved outfit on a date
  • Warnings about warmth and formality for a new outfit

Suits you if you already plan outfits in Fits and want to talk to your closet.

OutfitMaker's MCP page with its server address and how to connect it

OutfitMaker

OutfitMaker has two MCP addresses. One works without an account and gives outfit advice for a city's weather and an occasion. The other reads your OutfitMaker closet: it builds an outfit from your own pieces for today or tomorrow, draws it on a model as a picture in the chat, and tells you what you wear most and never.

  • Today's or tomorrow's outfit from your pieces and the weather
  • The outfit drawn on a model, as a picture in the chat
  • Most worn and never worn pieces

Suits you if you want a quick outfit for tomorrow's weather from clothes you own.

Closai's home page: three phone screens of an inventory built from purchases

Closai

Closai builds an inventory of what you own from your purchase emails: clothes, beauty, home and more. Its MCP server lets ChatGPT and Claude search that inventory, browse your saved outfits and outfit plans, suggest outfits for an occasion or the weather, and read your wishlist with links to buy.

  • In both the ChatGPT and the Claude directory
  • A closet built from your purchase emails
  • Outfit suggestions for an occasion or the weather

Suits you if you want the clothes you bought online in your chat without adding them one by one.

My Closet's page in Glama's list of MCP connectors

My Closet

My Closet, by Tolstoy, is a private closet you use from ChatGPT and other assistants. You save a piece from a text description or a photo, find it again by its saved text, and remove it. It has no outfits, no stylist and no wear log, and it can hand your closet to Tolstoy's Shopbots app.

  • In the ChatGPT directory
  • Saves a piece from text or a photo
  • A guest closet with no email

Suits you if you only want a list of your clothes that ChatGPT can search.

How we compare

  1. We looked for MCP servers that work with the clothes you own: in the ChatGPT and Claude directories, the official MCP registry, Smithery, Glama, mcp.so, LobeHub and GitHub, and on the websites of 37 closet apps.
  2. We kept the servers a person can sign in to and use today. Shop catalogues, try-on tools with no closet, a private pilot and projects you must run on your own computer are left out.
  3. For each one we read its directory listing, its tool list, its maker's MCP guide and website, and marked the 13 features. A feature counts only when one of them shows it for the MCP server, not only for the maker's phone app.
  4. The rows under the table show how a server gets into each assistant: from the assistant's own directory, or by pasting its address. Everything was read on October 11, 2026.
  5. Images are screenshots of public pages about each server.

Questions about wardrobe MCP servers

What is a wardrobe MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the way ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants call tools in other services. A wardrobe MCP server gives the assistant tools for your closet: list your clothes, add a piece, save an outfit. You sign in once, and then you ask in your own words, for example "what should I wear to dinner on Friday?"

Which servers can you find in the ChatGPT or Claude directory?

ServersDirectory
ClosaiChatGPT and Claude
Modebase, Able.Style and My ClosetChatGPT
The other serversnot in a directory: you paste their address as a custom connector in Claude or in ChatGPT's developer mode

Which servers can add clothes to your closet from the chat?

ServersHow a piece gets in
Weartonfrom a photo you upload in the chat or a link to a photo; the photo is put on a white background
Aestyfrom a photo or a link to a shop's product page
Vêtirfrom links to photos of your clothes; it cuts out each piece and fills in its details
Able.Stylefrom a photo or a short text description
My Closetfrom a text description or a photo
Modebasethrough a phone capture link or a photo you supply
Caffeinated Wardrobeyou describe the piece and give links to its images
Fits, OutfitMaker and Closaithey read the closet but do not add to it

Can the assistant delete clothes from my closet?

It depends on the server. Aesty, Able.Style, Caffeinated Wardrobe and My Closet have a tool that removes pieces. Wearton, Vêtir, Modebase, Fits, OutfitMaker and Closai have no tool for it; Vêtir's guide says that pieces cannot be deleted from the chat.

Do I need a paid ChatGPT or Claude plan?

A server from the ChatGPT directory works on any plan, as Modebase says for its own. A server you add by its address needs developer mode, and Aesty's and Vêtir's guides say that needs a paid ChatGPT plan. Modebase's guide says a custom connector in Claude needs a Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan.
