What it does

Modebase is a wardrobe on the web with no phone app of its own; ChatGPT and Claude are the way you use it. It keeps your pieces with photos and a style profile, and the assistant finds pieces, previews outfits as flat-lay pictures, builds capsules, saves outfits and logs what you wore.

How it works

Modebase says it is not a stylist: it holds the wardrobe and the style profile and hands them to ChatGPT or Claude. The assistant can save notes on a piece, such as a fit complaint, and check whether you already own something similar before you buy. Its pages disagree on whether a photo can be added inside the chat; the ChatGPT listing names a capture link and a supplied photo.

In ChatGPT it is in the directory as Modebase Wardrobe and works on any plan; in Claude you add it as a custom connector. Its tool names are not published. The free plan holds 10 pieces; paid plans hold 500 or 1,000. Modebase says the advice gets good at about 60 pieces.
